After many years, music lovers got the opportunity to listen songs of Ustad Niaz Mohammad Chowdhury. His self-titled solo album was released at a function held at Gulshan Club in the city yesterday evening.
Audio-video production house, G-Series has released the album. Authority of this production house is very happy to release the album after long time. Proprietor of the production house, Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan Khaled told this correspondent, “We have released the album because Ustadji had keen interest. I can say that after many years our music industry got an international standard album. I hope listeners will enjoy tracks of the album.”
While sharing his feelings to release his solo album Ustad Niaz Mohammad Chowdhury said, “Now I will say nothing. To keep in mind the listeners’ choices, I have made the album. Of the 12 tracks of the album, I myself have written lyrics of six tracks and composed tunes of nine tracks.”
It may be mentioned that lyrics of the rest three tracks of the album were written by Munshi Wadud, Moniruzzaman Monir and Faisal Ahmed. Bappa Mazumder has coordinated the whole album.
