A trader was shot dead by miscreants in capital’s Jatrabari area early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mujibur Rahman (55) who had a shop of electric products ‘Aziz Cables’ at Nababpur.
According to sources, miscreants shot him in Kazirhat area of Matuail around 4.00am while he was returning home for taking Sehari.
He was immediately taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, but the duty doctors declared him dead.
