Catcher is a hard book to read sometimes. I read it when I was in HS for fun and I thought Holden was the most obnoxious little shit ever; he'd have fit in well with the grungers at school. Now that I'm an adult I understand more about Holden's dissatisfaction of the &qoen;photuy" world of prep school, etc. I'm re-reading Catcher right now so we'll see what I think on my third read-through.
